Dominic Waechter

President and Investment Advisor Representative

I grew up in Nuremberg, Germany, a city more than a thousand years old. As a kid I spent my days skateboarding through its ancient streets and playing French horn in an orchestra. I didn’t fully appreciate the history around me until I left first for a six-month work trip through Australia and at 21 eventually to Los Angeles.

My work ethic started early. At 12 I had my first job delivering newspapers, and over the years I held a range of roles that each taught me something about money, responsibility, and planning ahead.

Growing up in Europe and experiencing different cultures shaped the way I think about wealth. I tend to take a measured, long-term approach focused on diversification and thoughtful planning that integrates investments, taxes, and estate considerations.

What ultimately drew me to this profession was watching my father-in-law and mentor, Dennis Duban. He genuinely loved helping clients reduce financial stress and improve their lives while solving the complex puzzles that thoughtful financial planning often presents.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles after beginning my studies at Friedrich-Alexander University in Nuremberg. I later completed a Master’s in Business Taxation from USC and hold a California CPA license, Investment Advisor designation, real estate license, and life insurance license.

My wife Chelsea and I live in Mar Vista with our son and our dog, Moe. Outside of work, I enjoy flying and earned my instrument rating in 2025. Aviation continually reminds me that preparation, patience, and lifelong learning matter—both in the air and in financial planning.
